I’d like to share my thoughts with you about the Trout Unlimited Colorado XT Pontoon Boat.

The Colorado XT is such a cool little pontoon boat! It’s about 9 foot long, so it’s really manuverable, both in the water and getting it to and from your trailer. It has an absolute buckletload of storage space (great for your fishing rods and all your catches)! There are 20, yes, 20 pockets for knick-knacks and things you don’t want to lose in the water. Having those pockets is a real life-saver when you have your hands full. There are even two insulated cup-holders for keeping your coffee warm while you’re waiting for that first bite.

But you know what I like best about the Colorado XT? The pontoon boat only weighs 77 lbs. For a craft that’s so sturdy and safe, that’s nuts…. but you don’t have to carry it! You just fix the transport wheel on, and wheel the boat around like a wheel-barrow! So cool.

I also like the way I can mount my fishing rod in one of six different positions… perfect for when you want to fish from just that perfect spot. You don’t have to maneuver the boat, just fish from the front, or back, or either side! And when you do have to maneuver the Colorado XT on the water, the oars lock into any of three different positions, meaning it’s always an easy movement (no more arm and shoulder strain)!
